Watchface Concept: Bar Graph

This is a watch face concept that I'm hoping to turn into a working face, hopefully with the help of someone who can actually program.

Simple concept: a bar graph that fills for hours and minutes. (In this case, it would be showing 10:33)

Neat & simple. you likey? 

I welcome all comments: I'm currently considering adding leading zeros to single digits, trying a different font, and widening the layout a teeny bit. Thoughts?

Ok, so I decided to tweak the design a bit, now it looks like this:

I still may try some different fonts to see if I can find one that works a wee bit better, but I'm pretty pleased with Myriad Pro & Arial. (I also played with completing the horizontal lines, but felt this worked better)

I just need a font for the date. Myriad Pro isn't free, so I used Roboto for now. If you could provide a free font I'll use that instead.

Holy cow, you rock!!! That looks great!

I was only using Myriad for the side numbers, and was using Arial for the date. Roboto looks very good though.

When/where can we download this puppy?

A general FYI to all watchface developers: Remember, Google Web Fonts is a huge repository of free fonts you can use!  http://www.google.com/fonts/

Sorry, I wanted to make sure the font stuff was sorted before publishing it properly. I changed the date to Arial and that does look better.

Nicely done! I do however have one suggestion. The numbers on the axis should be on the grid lines, not between them. This is how bar graphs are usually constructed. Other than that, I'm loving it. Great work!

How does this grab you (and the rest of you as well, of course): 

Maybe if we ask real nice, Cameron will update the Bar Graph watchface to this version...

Looks good to me! I don't want to be complaining, but you're placement looks better than the current version.

Alas, I am just the lowly designer: We'll have to wait and see if Cameron graces us with an update.

Update done. v1.1 on MyPebbleFaces has the new changes.

All my code for watch faces is open source. If for any reason someone else needs to make a new version they can grab it from my github repository in my signature.

I'm really enjoying making unique designs that aren't your typical watch face. From a software point of view this one was pretty easy so I thought I'd help out where I could.

Also, a good way to test a design on the watch itself, without knowing how to code is http://www.watchface-generator.de/

Make the mockup the background, and then move the time and date around, or push them offscreen.

That way you can see what the design will look like on the actual watch before it's implemented.
