Have this installed and LOVE the app. I order a LOT of items and this is fantastic for knowing on the go when something is sitting on my porch. Very useful, Neal!
Any plans to support something like http://www.17track.net/en/result/post.shtml ? I would kick you a few beers for looking into this definitely. A lot of eBay orders from overseas are using ePacket now, and that site has mobile variants that seem to use simple fetch and post data. eBay has some epacket tracking capabilities but not nearly what track17 does. It also supports the postal tracking numbers for over 120 countries/services.
Could also possibly beg the API devs for the one your using to look into it. I seen an email for suggestions and might fire that off in the morning. At any rate, kudos!
Love the app (new user) but having a strange issue. Each time the watch app load is says "unable to connect to phone". But I open the phone app and hit save, my 2 packages appear on the watch (both as "unable to connect to phone" warnings) but will load up the proper tracking info when selecting them. Closing and re-opening the watch app resets it back to a single non-working "unable to connect" message though
@Artlan This is a known issue with Android and I will submit a fix tomorrow. Until then, you can hold the select button when you see "unable to connect to phone" (to refresh).
@Neal Works great now! Took some doing to get the updated one in (App Store is a bit...quirky...) but works like a dream now. Thanks for all the work on this!
@Adam13 Yes, definitely possible. I think I never added that because I didn't know what the API returned as the estimated delivery date when I first wrote it as I didn't have any active tracking number at the time and completely forgot about it later. I actually do have an in-transit package right now so I'll look into it!
My email with the track17 API bits ever reach ya? I used the addy on GIT. Also do you need help with documentation? I had to go on an easter egg hunt to delete items and i'm not sure if that's exclusive to my install, or I just missed that in the directions somewhere. I also have the aformentioned bug in iOS, did the update make it to that market as well? Please advise, thanks!
Oh, if anyone else has the same issue deleting, place finger at beginning of saved name and swipe it right. A trash can should appear out of thin air. You can then press and remove. You can also hold and reorder the items in the list.
@Matthewsounds replied to your email regarding track17. Yeah, I need to write tutorials for all my apps; I'm hoping to do that during spring break next week. You can swipe anywhere on the title and the trash should appear. I'll add this to the app description as well. And what bug are you talking about? The one where it would stay at "unable to connect to phone"? If so, that's fixed but not sure it's available to iOS users (technically, you shouldn't, but I've noticed people are still getting the updates right away even on iOS).
I've pushed v1.2 which now shows the delivery estimate when available.
Received & thank you. I know you must be busy. If you need help with anything I can manage, let me know. Yes, I was referring to the disconnect bug. It happens to me on iOS as well. I see ver 1.2 in the app store but it says it's added already. This bring up a nice feature addition proposition: Version in the app. I have no idea what version I have, LOL. Am I over thinking this, Or? I know it didn't update today, so i'm gonna dump the installed package and install this update. Thanks!
EDIT: Dumped the app from the watch & locker, updated to 1.2 in iOS store, shows uploaded today. No delivery estimate as discussed and shown here. Anything special I need to do with iOS?
Looks like it's failing on smartpost. Checking with Boxoh's web lookup frontend, it seems they are looking up smartpost with USPS instead of Fedex. I've dropped a message with the boxoh people with a sample tracking number.
It might just be me, but whenever I add my packages, it never seems to track them, it just reads "No tracking data found." I've made sure the tracking number matches, but it just never works. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
UPDATE: The USPS site shows my tracking info, but Boxoh won't show it. Boxoh gives me this;
"FedEx reported an error
Tracking information not available yet. Please check back later." Any idea?
I like the concept of this though I'd like to see the ability of the option of grabbing an XML feed of items to track that I can load into the watch. This way I can just update my personal website for those and have your app refresh those tags whenever it needs to. I can then delete the tracking items I want from the website and then your watch app updates. Thoughts?
Hey guys, sorry for the recent troubles. Boxoh seems to be having a lot of issues lately with USPS and FedEx, so I am now using another API that hopefully works better and I also rewrote the app yesterday (same functionality but much better code).
@ChrisHaslage That is certainly possible, but I don't think many people would like to host their own XML feeds. Any other existing services any one uses to keep track of packages?
Edit: let me know if anyone would like to test the new app.

Love the app!
Oh, also, thanks for the source code!
Any idea?

It's also just called "Deliveries" now as I recently learned there's another company called "Package Trackr."
Awesome works great, thanks.
